The ship-by date depends on shipping zones (i.e., the higher the zone number, the further distance between origin and destination) and GrandCanals’ analysis revealed that shippers could have shipped 5 days later for zones 2 through 5, 4 days later for zone 6, and 3 days later for zones 7 and 8.
